About Judith

Judith is an experienced educator and mom with a lifelong dedication to progressivism through actions, not words.

A long-time resident of Doylestown Borough, Judith raised three children here. She is running for Mayor to ensure that the Borough remains a place for all; a town that attracts young families, where arts, culture, and commerce are encouraged, and where all generations work side-by-side to build community.

  • Respecting Tradition, Embracing Progress
Doylestown’s rich history, unique charm, and strong community values make this a great place to live. Judith had the good fortune of raising her family in a town that values its past and as Mayor will build on traditions while shaping a promising future.
  • Bringing People Together to Improve the Lives of Children
Judith has devoted her career to improving the lives of children and parents. She has extensive experience as a former university professor and middle school science teacher holding degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (Bachelor’s and Master’s) and Northwestern University (Ph.D.). She has brought together school district administrators, teachers, and parents to forge innovative approaches to learning that attracted national media attention and about which Judith was invited to speak at the White House during the Obama Administration.
  • Progressivism in Action: Helping Women and Children in Need
Judith is a staunch advocate for women and children, volunteering with Planned Parenthood Keystone, the Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition, and the Bucks County Women’s Resource Empowerment Network.
  • Strong Commitment to Our Community
Judith will work tirelessly to ensure Doylestown remains a thriving, sustainable, and inclusive community for future generations. She is passionate about the Borough’s award-winning arts scene to which her household of musicians are regular contributors. Though possessing no musical talents of her own, Judith is always ready to start the dancing and can often be found at Zumba classes at the Central Bucks Family YMCA.
